Quakes 2011 Fall Wins

The Conejo Quakes 8th Black Team won its second tournament of the 2011 Fall Season.  This time it was the 7th Annual NPBA Fall/Winter Classic on the 12th and 13th of November.  After beating SGV Black, OC Elite, and ALT Elite, they met up with Heart-N-Soul in a much antipcated Championship Game.  After being down at half time, the girls pulled out a huge second half, winning by a final score of 52-44.

The Conejo Quakes 8th Black Team opened up the season playing in the 8th Grade Gold Division at the Fall Kick-Off Classic in Ventura on the 10th and 11th of September.  Although it was the first tournament of the Fall Season, after a six week break from games, the girls still showed up to play.  On Saturday they took down Threat Basketball 38-17 and followed that up with a win over ALT Elite 43-21.  On Sunday, they took on the Pasadena Vikings and won a physical game, 36-20.  That game was followed up by a win over RC Bulls Elite by the score of 53-16.
