8/24/15 -- "The Conejo Quakes Club basketball team provided me with a fun and safe environment to enjoy a passion, while simultaneously encouraging and pushing my limits to become a more advanced basketball player. All of the coaches, whether it be my specific team coach or a coach from a separate team on the Quakes, made the experience feel personal as they all made efforts to me individually to help me in any, and all aspects I needed to improve upon. Through the team, I not only learned teamwork and selflessness, but also gained awesome friendships that I could never replace. I always looked forward to the practices and games because I knew these were both times I could progress and have an incredible time. Overall, I am more than happy to have spent over four years on the team and could never be more thankful." -- Mayrav Ben-Aderet, former player, four year Varsity player at Royal HS and four year Conejo Quakes player

8/23/15 -- "My son Jon loves playing with the Quakes. Neil and the rest of the coaching staff are terrific, and have considerable experience as coaches and players. And, even though they focus on building fundamentals and skills, their positive approach has also helped Jon to raise his potential and grow in confidence. In addition to fun but hard-working practices, I’m glad that there are many opportunities to play in tournaments throughout the season. There is a great sense of camaraderie, sportsmanship and team spirit with the Quakes, and I appreciate that Jon has the opportunity to be involved with such a fine program." -- Ray Hebel, parent of current player and Moorpark HS Boys Freshmen Coach

8/21/15 -- "After several years of playing basketball with boys in the city’s recreation league, our daughter was ready to move on to the next level. We were told about the Quakes program and came out for a practice. Being surrounded by other girls who played basketball was so validating for my daughter that she immediately wanted to join. Within weeks we noticed improvement as Coach Neil helped her focus on fundamentals and Coach Harry worked on improving her shot. She enjoyed traveling to tournaments as she was exposed to different skill levels and felt it was preparing her for high school level play. We have now been with the program for over a year and my biggest kick as a parent is hearing the other coaches and parents yell out “who’s got 20?”  But if you were to ask her what she loves best about the Quakes, she would say it was the bonds she made with her teammates and the time she spent with them off the court like going out to restaurants, enjoying movies, having swim parties and watching Sparks games." -- Melinda Barrera, parent of current player

3/7/11 -- "The training Aaron got in the six months he has trained with the Quakes, has had a very positive impact to his games in the NPBA league.  He improved from only scoring one point for the whole season a year ago to scoring eight points in several games this season." -- Yingying Li, parent of former player

2/27/11 -- "My daughter has enjoyed playing for Coach Neil and the Conejo Quakes for over a year now.  She can't wait for practice and learns so much about being a better ball player.  The training provided has improved her shooting and driving.  Most importantly she is having the most fun playing basketball that she has had in the 8 years she has been playing." -- Laurie Kazmer, parent of former player

10/6/09 -- "I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank the coaching staff for assisting Sydney in her basketball development. I am amazed on how patient the coaching staff is with the kids and I love it when you push Sydney to be tougher. Please continue! It is a pleasure to watch Sydney learn the fundamentals and apply it on the court, not 100% of the time, but it will come with time and repetition. She is learning the game and really enjoying it which is so important. It is a tribute to the program and the coaching staff’s leadership." -- Fred Boyer, parent of former player

5/27/09 -- "I'll begin by saying thank you!  Thank you for the opportunity you gave Paige and myself to participate in such an awesome basketball program and organization. The benefits have paid off in terms of Paige's love for the game.  Her basic fundamentals have improved overall and it shows and manifests itself in team play, I couldn't be more proud of her hard work and dedication to the game.  Neil, you and the rest of the coaches have created a program that is going be hard to match when a parent and player are looking for something so unique, so diverse, they will want what your organization has to offer them.  Paige's game has come along way in a short time and I am able to stand back and take a look at her evolution as a player and a leader.  Neil, you made it possible for Paige to be part of something pretty cool, so cool that it will and is something to be talked about.  The word is out that the Conejo Quakes Basketball Program is a top notch organization and I have no doubt that it will grow and prosper with your leadership and staff.  Neil, thanks to you and your staff once again!" -- Tony Montes, parent of former player

9/14/08 -- "Neil has coached my daughter Lindsay for the past two years. He brings so much knowledge and a true love
for the game to the court. Neil has the amazing ability to look at each player as an individual and bring them to the next level of play. The girls are not only able to relate to him and respect him as a coach but they also look to him as a friend. Neil teaches each girl the true fundamentals of basketball and gives everyone a chance to play and improve their game. We feel we have been so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with such an incredible coach." -- Robin Jesseman, parent of former player
